Jason Wickens was brought up on his family's fourth generation cattle ranch outside of Winifred, Montana. It wasn't until his brother returned home from Texas Christian University, bringing with him a style of music known as Red Dirt, that Jason was introduced to what would be a true passion in his life. After audio engineering school in Arizona and work in the North Dakota oil fields, Jason returned to Montana and met audio engineer Doc Wiley. The two began building what would become Live From the Divide. The music venue, public radio program & podcast explore the art of songwriting and feature a wide range of American roots music.
